For many, dressing up is part of the racing experience, and Ladies
Day in June provides the perfect excuse to dress up and don a new hat! The dress code for Ladies Day does not alter from the below, but many of our guests do like to dress up. We also run a best dressed lady competition in the County Enclosure.
In the hospitality areas of the racecourse, such as the Severn Restaurant & Private Boxes, we encourage customers to adopt smart casual attire. This includes smart denim and buttoned shirts for men, and ladies in smart dress. Sportswear is not permitted in the Severn Restaurant or Private Boxes.
Whilst there is no strict dress code, we would encourage smart casual attire in this enclosure. Trainers and smart shorts are allowed but sportswear is not permitted in the County Enclosure. On themed days we encourage all racegoers to dress up for the occasion.
This enclosure is more relaxed and doesn’t operate a strict dress code, however it is advisable to dress for the elements. Feel free to dress up and enjoy the occasion, particularly on themed race days. Please note, should you wish to upgrade to the County Enclosure on the day, sportswear will not be permitted.
In addition to our standard dress codes, novelty (fancy dress) clothing is allowed to be worn within the racecourse but if deemed to be inappropriate in any way Worcester Racecourse reserves the right to prevent the wearer from coming into the racecourse.
